L.J. Kutten
L.J. Kutten is the Publisher of the Software Taxation Institute. He is a lawyer
who specializes in computer law and software taxation. He is licensed to practice
law in Hawaii, Illinois, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and the US Tax Court. He
lives in Reno, Nevada.
He is a graduate of Claremont
McKenna College and received his J.D. from Washington
University School of Law In St. Louis.
Besides his numerous software taxation titles, he is the author of numerous
other legal books and previously published three newsletters. They are:
Over the past 30 years, Mr. Kutten has written nearly 110 articles and has
lectured on software law in the United States, Europe, and South America.

Most of the other functions of the Software Taxation Institute are provided

Pressure
Pressure is the office dog. Her job is perhaps the most important
of anyone at the Software Taxation Institute. Her duties include (1) sleeping
on her bed, (2) chewing on her toys, (3) demanding bribes (one dog biscuit)
before allowing non-office mates to use to water cooler, and (4) guarding
the office when Mr. Kutten go out to lunch or otherwise leave
the office during the work day.
