1. The Steamlines Sales Tax Project
2. State Tax Department: A link to the web pages of state tax departments for those states that have a sales tax.
3. IRS: Federal Internal Revenue Service.
4. California E-Commerce Report: The California E-Commerce Board has issued its report. It made numerous suggestions including a permanent ban on internet taxes. A complete copy of the report is available on line in both Adobe Acrobat format and Microsoft Word.
5. International Tariffs and Taxes on Computer Software and Hardware Imports: The U.S. Government prepares an annual compilation of tariffs and other taxes currently applied to computer hardware and software imports in over 120 countries. The last report was prepared in 2004.
6. Federation of Tax Administrators: A national organization dealing with state tax administration.
7. Multistate Tax Commission: The MTC is an agency of state governments established to help make state tax systems fair, effective and efficient as they apply to interstate and international commerce, and to protect state fiscal authority.
8. National Tax Association: A national educational organization dedicated to tax education.
9. State Tax Central: A guide to general information about state taxes.
